STEM Experiences are opportunities at the Science Fair for our students to expand their STEM knowledge through workshops sessions. Professionals may provide demonstrations, video tours and panel discussions for our students to learn more about STEM. subjects and careers. Ideas: How a widget works, the steps required in developing of a new product for a manufacture, a STEM career path panel, demo of unique drone technology, hands on explanation of animal habitats, what happens to recycling of a box, etc. The possibilities are endless!
Interested? We need S.T.E.M. professionals to share their experiences in their careers and showcase their interesting projects and discoveries in their fields. We are focused on connecting students with the following areas of interest:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Computer Sciences
- Environmental Sciences
- Medical Related Information
- Sustainability Efforts
What to Expect: Breakout Sessions are held for students either before or after their judging session. Student groups are 40-80 students in a classroom setting (or outside if applicable and weather permitting). Sessions are approximately four 25-30 minutes workshops. Sessions are held 9 a.m. – 12noon or 12noon – 3 p.m.
