How to Qualify for the Gwinnett Regional Science, Engineering + Innovation Fair

1st place Middle School & High School winning projects at the Gwinnett Regional Science, Engineering + Innovation Fair will advance to the Georgia Science & Engineering Fair (GSEF) held in Athens, GA on the campus of the University of Georgia April 11-13, 2024.

The 48th annual Gwinnett Regional Science, Engineering + Innovation Fair will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Gas South District. In order to participate, schools must identify a science fair coordinator, who attends meetings, completes required paperwork, supports the local school project development, and the local school fair.  Science Fair coordinators earn a significant stipend, which is scaled based on the size of participation at the local school level.  We will host the first science fair coordinators meeting of the year on August 28 at 530pm on Teams.
